The Delco SBOC exists to support the local food banks, which are feeding the food insecure. For nearly twenty years, the Delco SBOC food drive has been collecting food items during the weekend of the Super Bowl. The drive is run by volunteers and members of thirteen local churches with the help of middle and high school students, as well as local Boy and Girl Scout troops. Over the past four years, we have collected an average of over 40,000 items in multiple towns (Aston, Drexel Hill, Media, Morton, Rutledge, Springfield, Swarthmore, and Westbrook Park) for local pantries each year. This is amazing but we know we can do better!
